Chinese Boxing with Cameron Towe’s Group
Friday nights at 6pm
This class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of Chinese Boxing, a dynamic and highly effective martial art. James guidance, you will learn powerful striking techniques, evasive footwork, and grappling maneuvers. Join us to refine your skills in the art of Chinese Boxing.
Tai Chi Group
Saturday at 12pm
If you seek a more tranquil practice that promotes balance and harmony, our Tai Chi Group class is the perfect fit for you. Led by James Cravens, this class will guide you through the movements of Tai Chi Form and weapons practice. Experience the building blocks that improve your Tai Chi. We work in Chen Tai chi Laojia and Xinjia methods.

Our Chinese Boxing Group class provides an opportunity for experienced practitioners to hone their techniques and engage in high-level training. We study both the Core Synthesis and the CBIA Synthesis along with the principles which are critical for Chinese Boxing.

CBIA Camp

Join the Chinese Boxing Instructors Association (CBIA) and be a part of shaping the future of Chinese Boxing!
As we enter into our 5th year of operation, the CBIA is proud to continue its mission of cultivating a group of dedicated instructors who will carry our ancient martial arts into the generations to come. Our two-day events offer unparalleled instruction from esteemed coaches James Cravens, Cameron Towe, Ken Mills, Buddy Benford, and Alan Baker.
With Coach James Cravens, Coach Cameron Towe, and Coach Ken Mills as our Chinese Boxing instructors, you can expect to receive top-notch training and guidance in the art of Chinese Boxing. By sharing their extensive knowledge and expertise, they are committed to equipping you with the skills necessary to excel as a Chinese Boxing instructor.
Furthermore, Coach Buddy Benford will focus on teaching Chin na, a specialized technique aimed at joint locks and manipulation, while Coach Alan Baker will impart his wisdom in Anti-Grappling techniques, adding a comprehensive understanding of effective defense strategies to your repertoire.
Joining the CBIA grants you access to our online archive, curated with care to serve as a comprehensive resource detailing the Kai Sai Chinese Boxing Curriculum. With approximately 30 accomplished instructors actively participating in this archive, you will be able to expand your knowledge, deepen your understanding, and continually develop as an instructor.
As a member of the CBIA, you will also have the opportunity to attend two free camps each year. These camps, held in either Atlanta, Georgia or Chattanooga, Tennessee, provide the ideal environment to connect with fellow practitioners, exchange insights, and elevate your training experience to new heights.

The Chattanooga Group begins with a session on Friday night at Cameron Towe’s Chinese Boxing Group. On Saturday we meet for the Chattanooga Tai Chi Group , and then on Sunday we meet at 1pm for the Chattanooga Chinese Boxing Group. We meet four times a year.
