Background
Chinese Boxing Institute International was founded in 1981 by Christopher G. Casey, who was Chief Liaison Officer for the Koushu Federation Republic of China U.S. Mission and European Mission. Mr. Casey resigned from the Koushu Federation after 10 years of service and brought with him an impressive Board of Directors to Chinese Boxing Institute International. In addition, some of Mr. Casey's teachers and friends contributed greatly to the curriculums that we now enjoy. Mr. Casey passed in 1986 and James Cravens has continued the CBII in its pursuit of real boxing studying the energy of realistic martial art. Most of the curriculums of Mr. Casey were heavily focused on the martial aspect. Mr. Cravens, in his study in recent years has added the health aspect offered in the internal martial art.Some of Mr. Casey's influences were:
