Lo Man Kam
Mr. Casey was the first Caucasion to receive an instructors certificate from Lo Man Kam. He was adopted into Sifu Lo's boxing clan. Mr. Casey would say that Master Lo was like a physics teacher in his knowledge and explanation of the Wing Chun style. Lo Man Kam was the nephew of Yip Man and followed him from Fatshan Province to Hong Hong in the late 40's early 50's. Later Yip Man sent Lo to Taiwan and he has resided there ever since, teaching the art of Wing Chun.
Tao Ping Siang
Tao Ping Siang studied Tai Chi, Pakua, Hsing-i and Water Boxing on the mainland until 1948 when he moved to Taiwan. He met Cheong Man Ching and began studying Tai Chi from him until his death. Master Tao specialized in Push Hands and in his later years taught the Water style principles as the key to his techniqjue. He liked to illustrate it using the exercise of Push Hands. Master Tao died in 2006. He spend the last few decades living half a year in Taiwan and half a year in the US. He taught many seminars through the years. He left his Water style technique with Nathan Menaged who lives in Ohio. We were priviledged to have him teach in CBII for many years even after Mr. Casey died.
Wang Shu Shin
Wang Shu Shin was a legend in Taiwan and was known for his Pakua, Tai Chi, and Hsing-i. Most known for his Pakua, he was Casey's first teacher in his Taiwan years. He was older and not in the best of health. Casey requested and learned a focus on the martial aspects of Pakua. Some have criticized the large size of Master Wang, but few have criticized the great skill he possessed. Master Wang died in the early 80's.
Shen Mou Hui
Master Shen was a great boxer who was talented in many areas. His family art was Black Shantung Tiger and publicly he taught Tai Chi Chuan. He taught the special police forces in Taiwan. Mr. Casey gleaned information from him in Tai Chi, Pakua, Hsing-i, Chin na, Shuai Chaio, and Black Shantung Tiger. He is still in Taiwan teaching.
Liao Wu Chang
Liao known as the "monkey king" in Taiwan. Mr. Casey was able to study some from Master Liao. He had a strong background in Fukien White Crane and practiced his own art... Stone Killer Monkey. Had great conditioning and speed late in life. Several people have amazing clips of his skill into his 80's. He certainly was a special boxer. Mr. Casey felt he possessed many of the qualities of the internal boxers he studied from.
Master Chen
Mr. Casey had two Fukien White Crane teachers in Taiwan. Master Chen had a title of one of the "five tigers of Taiwan". He was an excellent master with very fast hands. He often demonstrated with his two daughters around Taiwan.

Taki Kumura
Taki Kumura taught Mr. Casey the Jeet Kune Do curriculum from Bruce Lee. He received an instructors certificate from Taki. Taki still resides in Seattle and does some limited teaching.
Dan Inosanto
Dan Inosanto spent time with Mr. Casey via the introduction from Taki in order to help Mr. Casey get a good balance as to what the Jeet Kune Do consisted of and how it evolved through the years.

Hong Men Hue
Mr. Casey was inducted into the Hong Men Huey sponsored by Shen Mou hui. This organization helped promote and preserve the Chinese Boxing through the years of its history.
